We are to use them in our lives and for those around us. It’s no accident that crystals have healing energies or that the phases of the moon have incredible influence on our moods. The crystals and other elements were put here for us to utilize just like herbs, water and fire.
The first time I heard the scripture, (Psalms 150:6)“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord”, I got chills. I mean, everything that has breath? I learned in school that plants breathe so it made sense that this scripture was talking about plants too. I began to picture the trees with their limbs stretched out as high as they can get them, praising their creator. It’s a beautiful thing.
Naturally as my journey with The Creator intensifies, so does my knowledge of the earth around me. I can recall in scriptures where a multitude of elements and earthly things are used to perform “magic” or miracles. Moses had a stick and a burning bush. Moses was punished for striking a rock instead of speaking to it. (And I get crazy looks for talking to my rocks 😉 hehe). Jesus had his robe and his blood. Jesus also used dirt, spit and the art of Reiki. Water, oils, herbs, incense….. these all have an energy that makes them unique. The scriptures give us a good look at these gifts and the best ways to use them. These gifts; they are ours from our creator.
I leave you with a prayer. My prayer is that you create peace and healing with the energy around you. That you create a new you with every passing day. For I believe that we don’t “find ourselves”.. we create ourselves!
